[Dailydrool] Thanks for the foster advice

Thank all of you so much for the advice on integrating a foster into the
home.  It's been a week and I can say Baloo has really mellowed out with
the foster Bumpus.  We still have the lip curl, but no teeth gnashing.
Everyone was right - just an adjustment period.  Bumpus has been in three
different houses, plus a kennel for a week, all within the past three weeks
so it really is amazing how fast he's settled in.  What he lacks in
discipline (and he's a fast learner; amazing!) he more than makes up for in
temperament.

Of course, wouldn't you know he has an adopter interested!  He's meeting
them today. They have three Bassets and have adopted from the rescue I'm
fostering Bumpus for, so I do feel good about that.  But I'm already
attached to the little fella.

Drool to all; my heart genuinely hurts for all of the special houndies who
have left for the Bridge.

Special shout out to Debbie Winchester - we're thinking about Dollie and
cheering her (and you!) on!
