[Dailydrool] condolences, healing drool and my close "call"

Far too many are making permanent vacations with Elder Clara, Bug, my Pierre Sr. and all the cloud hounds, and I am so very, very sorry for the suffering of the ones left behind.  It took me a long time to accept the journey is destined, for the better in most cases, and the biggest gift is the relief they get from all the pain and suffering of their life here with us.
As for the ailing, especially for Marlene with Maggie wags, as I know how horrible allergies are, I pray with all my heart for a remedy.  If I had a suggestion, I would send it, but I do not.  
I had a close call today.  I would have had Jr. with me, except he had a dental on Wed.  He is fine with pearly white chopper bones, and he was groggy yesterday, still, and I chose to leave him home today just because I wanted to give him more rest time.  
My close call is this, and when I came home, I told my sister, she almost became an only child today.  I was in a designated turning lane, not a traffic lane, to enter Mom's nursing home's parking lot. There was a lot of traffic, and as I was waiting to make my turn, I noticed a white van veering into my lane, and it is not uncommon that veering behavior occurs, but in this case, this van did not correct itself.  It was about 6 ft. away, and then I started blasting my horn HARD.  Finally, it appeared the driver fell asleep at the wheel, and when I honked, I saw the jerk reaction of his head rising, and he corrected his driving.  I am grateful he heard my horn.
