Marie,  
you mentioned if Snoopy had pancreatitis, he should be fasting.  I have been
told by our vet that there is a split on that thought.  Personally, in my
mind,  I believe they should be given bland food.  I think an empty stomach,
only perpetuates more problems.
The last part is strictly my take on pancreatitis, but the vet did say, no
longer is it a cut and dry decision, to feed or not feed during that
illness.
