[Dailydrool] Moon dogs

I don't know if Tilly is a MOON DOG or not.  I will have to keep a chart.
She has not snarled at Harvey for a long set of weeks.  Maybe Harvey has
gotten the message finally that Tilly is in charge!!  

 

Phoebe, as always, is the peacemaker.  Only interferes if she thinks Tilly
is getting too rough with Harvey.  Harvey now outweighs Tilly by over 10
pound!!  But Harvey still bows to Tilly!!

 

Harvey met the new dog on the street, a 14 month old non neutered, female,
Doberman pincher.  We let them meet and greet in the street, on leashes.
Harvey let her sniff him and then he sniffed her and they seemed Ok for a
few minutes, then Harvey started growling at her and I pulled him away.  

 

I noticed her enlarged nipples and asked if she was "in heat"  The owner
said, not that he knew but she was due for a second heat.  That explains it.
She smelled different to Harvey.  He packs at the kennel with all neutered
animals.  Why do owners choose not to neuter?
