[Dailydrool] Marlene and Bev

Oh, Marlene, I appreciate you so much for your efforts despite your own personal health issues.  Funny thing about Golden's, while they are supposed to be a great social breed, there was one at doggie school where I took Pierre Jr., and that dog stared at Jr. all the time, and Jr. actually got worse in social behavior because of that dog.  He now has issues with all Goldens, and most of the owners are clueless because they have a "reputable" breed, but Jr. has been lunged at by more Goldens than any other breed.
That being said, Bev, Conley is doing the extendo leg that Jr. has mastered.  Jr. is quite the collector and gatherer, and he is 4 +  yrs. old.  Yes, he has his brains, but it just makes him more devious.  I love him so much, and all his freckles and naughty spots, and while we have a crate free house here (but we have crates if the need ever be), the hounds have learned to listen to my tone.  Yet, they get over me a lot, but so long as it is not something that will hurt them, I will take the hit.
Four go to the Vet tomorrow for routine.  I can't do 8 in a day during the summer, have to stagger it, with thunder storms and the 4th Holiday upon us.  JP went last week, and three will go next week. 
I don't know if I mentioned this, but JP has a chronic cough, just one of his health issues.  I restarted using the air purifiers I bought when Pierre Sr. was here (for his allergies), and I run them (2 - on two levels of the house) 12 hrs. each, at medium strength, and I see a big improvement in his cough.  He has been so cute lately, still has a lot of issues, but at almost 12 yrs. old, and way past his initial expiration date, I love on him as much as I can.
