I am not positive that Llewis does not have a touch of it. He does some
pretty strange things, but foremost is his periodic failure to recognize
and/or respond to one of us. I cannot be sure he isn't just blowing us off,
Basset-style, but the look on his face would argue that he is startled to
see us there (in the yard, in the living room, etc) and I know he can hear.
Eyesight might not be topnotch.

Anapryl we used with excellent results at the hospital where I worked. I
would certainly try it for two or three months--give it time to work-- and
see if it helps. It is relatively inexpensive now and you can probably get
it with a script at a discount pharmacy.

I wish I could spend a few minutes just looking around in Llewis's brain.
Of all the Bassets we have had he is the most puzzling.
