Hi all, Daria from FL finally getting 5 to chime in with this and that. First, healing drool to all that have lost a houndie. I have to confess I haven't been keeping up with drools at all lately. Healing drool to all that need it, human and houndie alike. We have been in major drool production for my mother's bichon, Mimi. she was attacked by a pit bull a week ago and got a huge bite on her hind leg. Thankfully it is just a flesh wound but it totally traumatized my mother and her dog. It happened in the playground next to my mother's house. The owner of the PB just got him from a rescue. SHe was playing with her 3 small children in the playground and had just wrapped the dog's leash around a pole but didn't tie it. He took one look at Mimi and went for her. He is now at the pound awaiting his fate. Mimi is better and Mom is getting over the scare.
So, Tony in FL is doing good. He was out of commission for awhile with gastric issues but he's getting better too. He's on Flagyl and no more diarrhea, YEAH!
Suncoast Basset Rescue is having their auction in august so I will be getting the sewing machine going. I found a pattern for Yoga Mat Bags. I am going to make a prototype tomorrow and see how it goes. There may be a few at the auction. I have to find some basset related fabric for them. Fun for me, playing with fabric. Nothing else to do when it rains so I'll sew.

Belly rubs to all,
Daria and Tony in FL
