[Dailydrool] deer flies

I live in Indiana and we have deer flies mostly all summer.  When they are gone towards August the horse flies appear, which are worse.  They do bite, can actually draw blood on me!  I use Avon's Skin-So-Soft (I don't sell Avon) on myself and my dogs.  It works and you don't need much.  It is a bit oily but that is not a problem considering getting bitten by them is the alterative.
