Subject: [Dailydrool] Gracie reports (warning, graphic!)

Hi it's Gracie,

I have a recommendation for all you hounds out there.  If anyone in your family every packs for a major excursion and you find a bag full of dried fruit do NOT, I repeat, do NOT ..... eat it all.

I did that yesterday very early (like maybe 1 or 2 AM).  By last night I looked like I was about to have puppies (again).  Mommy was listening to my tummy (it made a lot of noise) and worried sick.   I was pooping and pooping.  Not loose.  Just a lot of stuff.  She took me for a walk.  I had some normal BMs but by the end of the walk I would stop periodically and poop out an apricot or a couple of cranberries.  Or raisins (yes, she is still praying real hard about the yogurt covered raisins).  Late in the night I was laying on the couch just panting .... I was really breathing too fast but let's face it, a trip to the emergency vet would have made that worse, not better and I was resting and not moaning and no indication of obstruction and if she got out a cookie then I charged over there and wagged and demanded it so ..... we prayed real hard.

This morning we had breakfast (that's another thing, I haven't missed a meal since I ate the 3 big bags of dried fruit, and Mommy says that's good cause it'll push the other stuff out of me).  Then I went outside and peed.  Everyone came back inside.  Then I went back outside.  I don't want to be too graphic but the clueless momPerson says I produced the largest BM she has ever seen.  Out of any mammal that has lived at our home.  Including Cyrus (who was 110 lbs).    The pile in the yard was the size of my gut last night.  Seriously.

So, I recommend that you not eat all the dried fruit you can find.  It is an unpleasant experience.  Oh, and if you get dried apricots then CHEW them.  Because otherwise when you drink water they hydrate and swell up and they are harder to get out then they were to get in.

Love Gracie who hopes that's not too graphic and is SHOCKED that poor Browyn is forced to sleep in a cage/crate/whatever and wants to know if she wants to come live with me at my house.  Especially because her brother is a TATTLE TALE!!
