[Dailydrool] Good Grief!!!

So-I know the calendar says something about spring being close-it is hard for me to buy that one since it has been cold and dreary all day, plus that hog that calls himself Phil with a degree as a weather varmit-(I would love to go holeside, drag him out and let him freeze off the gonads, but that is a rant for another day I guess)...so here is the question.
Dollie is a white and red, a thick coated basset, we have been trying to get her used to being brushed, and using the furminator on her. Never have I seen a basset shed like this-not even Clara that we thought was the worst.
So are there any other hounds loosing the winter fur coat???? Is this early for this? 
I don't think Dollie has had much brushing in her prior days until she came to rescue and now here, and she could of been left outside a lot, but holy heck, she is molting!!!!!!
