Congrats, Debbie, on Dollie's settling in. She sounds like a great hound, but then all seniors are just wonderful, aren't they?

Dollie sounds much like our Horton, when it comes to toys. He can't go outside, since we don't have a doggy door, but I find all the toys throughout the house and especially on his bed in the bedroom. He evidently carries them there to keep them safe. He's also a squeaker killer, and I am amazed that he hasn't killed all the squeakers in every toy. I had to buy him his own fox, because he was doing in the squeakers on Dexter's fox.

If he finds some of my socks in the house--or even more oddly, ink cartridges in my office--he takes them to his bed too!
 
When I agonized over Alexis being a sitter-upper, a vet told me that it was possible that her doing that had kept her back good, because it strengthened her muscles in that area. At any rate, there was no stopping her from doing it, so it was something of a nonissue. She never had any back trouble, so maybe the vet was right.
