[Dailydrool] Max update

Max had his first chemo today, and the visit was very  comforting.  So far, no reaction, but he is on a high dose of pred for two weeks, so we all know what goes with this.  He is a little tired, but he seems a lot more peaceful already.  He goes for another treatment next week, and then we will know if he has B-cell or T-cell lymphoma.  Again, it was noted with astonishment the size of his spleen.  Poor little guy!!!  He got high praise for his good behavior, and everyone thought he was so cute.   One of the MD's on his team (yes, Max now has a team) owns a basset so the bond was very strong.  Donna finally was able to relax a little, and even shined a little positive spirit.
Thank you to everyone for all the drool, prayers and well wishes.  I still haven't finished replying to all those kind enough to touch base regarding JP, and please forgive me for this, but right now, my hands are for the hounds rather than the keyboard.  JP is recovering nicely BTW.
