[Dailydrool] Heidi the dickens or fairy princess

We've had Heidi since March 16th. We started looking right away because Wulfgang was so depressed after Gunter died. As soon as we brought her home, he was better - it was amazing. She decided she was mine right away and she follows me all over the house like my shadow. She is a gorgeous little red and white girl from Kentucky, she is very small about 35 pounds now. When we got her she was underweight - she had a litter right before she was brought into rescue. The vet that examined her said she's about 4 years old and I thought that's good, she already has her brains - she is my first girl, I've always had boys.
She was an angel the first 3 weeks. Then she started having diarrhea so I brought her to the vet (of course I had her in right after we got her and they did a stool sample, she was negative then). We found out she had hookworms, whipworms and giardia. She started feeling better about 3 days after we started the medicine, and she turned into a mini Tasmanian Devil. She is a dickens! She gets into everything, is more adept at counter cruising than Wulfgang (who is longer) and has some kind of evil deal with the cat to knock anything she can't get off of the counter. She goes after my beading stuff (I do a lot of work with seed beads, the very tiny ones and I use a needle and fishing line). I've always been careful with them around the dogs, and Gunter and Wulfie never showed much of an interest in my beading supplies. Well, I'm being schooled now.
Yesterday, in less two hours in between playing with her stuffy and Wulfie, she got both of my oven mitts, my bra, an empty spool of fireline, a tube of beads courtesy of the cat, the mail, my shoes, a pen, and the garbage (which is in the pantry behind a closed door). She also eats poop - I've never had a poop eater before. Sunday she took my beads, one tube at a time out of the bookcase where I kept them and tried to play with them. (I was out of the room and Brian didn't think to move them). I moved them to the shelf that's 6 feet off the floor, but now the cat knocks them down to her. I think she's trying to tell me she wants to learn how to bead, and I'm not sure how to tell her that needles aren't a good idea for her. I have quickly learned that I need to buppy proof the house again, after a long time without a buppy and she is more inventive that either one of the boys ever were. I think the vet was off in his guess, and she is more like 2, not 4. She makes me tired just watching her and I love her to pieces and wouldn't trade her for the world.

Clueless Momperson can you tell me what the magic stuff you get to stop the poop eating is? I'd like to get Heidi kisses again.

She doesn't drool much but Wulfie drools enough for 2 so we are sending drool to everyone who needs it.

Kim with Wulfgang (she always wants to play. I just want to sleep), Heidi the Fairy Princess (Mom what are those shiny things, do they taste good)?, Gunter ATB and the c at ts
