I so wish my three of my pack were angry at thunder, but just the opposite. I had a day yesterday that took me until 5pm to get in the tub, and as soon as I was starting my bath, there were thunder claps, and the bathroom window was open slightly, and I said a Marlene word, hoping I would not get a lightning strike, and then the three basset cases crammed into the room with me. I gave ace to two of them, and they still have droopy eyes today, Nigel not so much (Happy Birthday Uncle Bill, wink wink to Janie Anne, I hope you took great care of your Daddy today, he deserves it), and I gave no dose to Max who usually gets it, but I don't want to mess up his chemo care and mix drugs willy nilly. That is a question for the next visit however, since the season has begun. Jellybean is OK today, but Max had some diarrhea issues today. His white cell count was high on his last visit to the oncologist. He is eating OK, but with some obvious decline. It is his chewing that concerns me. He seems to have a more delicate mouth of late, as if he is hungry and wants to eat, but chewing is hard for him. Believe you me, I am a food specialist for him, and Sis and I are doing all we can to the best of our abilities. So we had another successful day that Max ate, and God bless that great little boy. Tomorrow, we will start all over. I have never cooked so much, or washed so many dishes, or ran this dishwasher so much until this health event with Max. Small sacrifices for his quality of life left.
Healing drool to all in need,
Jackie and the herd
