[Dailydrool] Three things

Well, maybe just two. Between the time I thought of the three and went
to computer room, forgot one of them...

No. 1 (hard to forget) I put one of the dog's pills where I usually lay
out my own to remind myself to give her -- and thought at the time,
no-no you'll end up forgetting it's hers and take it yourself. Uh huh...
Called the vet tech who said it wouldn't hurt me but it reminded her of
the time her granddad took a pill meant to keep a dog from going into
heat. Didn't hurt him, either, but nearly scared him to death.

No. 2 re hurtful backs, knees, etc. Ice packs are good. Heat is bad. A
hot pack *feels good* at the time, but makes things worse as it
increases fluid build-up, which makes the joint or area feel worse
afterward. Ice packs are a must to restrain swelling and also reduce
pain. If you don't have an ice pack, a bag of frozen peas or other
veggies works well. The famous application of cold or frozen steak for a
black eye is OK if you don't mind cooking and eating it after it thaws
-- otherwise, a rather expensive remedy.

No. 3 (who knows?)

Riche
