[Dailydrool] Elvis

We had a great time at the Georgia Bash. It was the first one my husband has ever gone to, but he was a little disappointed. When I saw the theme was rock and roll and that there was going to be a surprise guest I said I bet Elvis was going to be there. I was right (it wasn't hard to figure out who it was going to be) and an Elvis impersonator showed up. The reason he was disappointed was he thought I meant it was going to be the "real" Elvis - Angelica's Basset.  He has seen pictures of Elvis on the calendar, my daughter and I have talked about meeting him at the Michigan waddle, and I have talked about all the things he does for rescue. He just assumed that was the Elvis that was coming to the Bash. I wonder how many people hear the name Elvis and automatically think Basset.  I would say we all had a good laugh but he wasn't laughing he though he was going to meet Elvis the Basset.
