[Dailydrool] OMG

Hi all, Dale here, the ever clueless momPerson,

Soooooo ...... we went down to Monterey for a couple of nights for Gregs birthday.   Including the 2 leggers.  We got our family friend Lani to stay with the bassets while we were gone.  Lani came to the door, LuLu pushed everyone out of her way, wagged her tail like a flag and went charging over to Aunt Lani person (pet me, pet me, no no, not her me, pet me).  I'm not sure exactly which paw the 3 of them have Lani wrapped around but they just love her to pieces.  Gracie looked a little tiny bit sad but LuLu and Snoopy didn't seem sad at all when we left.

Lani texted me and told me the dogs were fine.  She even sent a few pictures.  Yesterday afternoon she sent me a still shot of the dogs wrestling.  It was pretty blurry ...... but I would have sworn that was Gracie on top and Snoopy on his back with LuLu playing referee.  But that couldn't be right, Snoopy has never learned to wrestle, not really, he will half roll but he doesn't know how to wrestle and play like other dogs, he only yells and plays chase.  I mean, I've had Snoopy for 3 years and I know how he plays and he would like to play like that but he can't and that's why Gracie gets scared when he tried to join in so ... yeah .... no ...

I came home today and we were all sitting on the patio and the dogs came out and Gracie play bowed and Snoopy charged over and Gracie grinned and grabbed his ear and he grinned back and rolled over on his back and he and Gracie were wrestling and tussling and nibbling and playing so sweet and loving and Snoopy has never, ever played with any other dog like this before ever and LuLu came over and they were all rolling and playing and LuLu was doing more barking than Snoopy was and Lani said they had been this was for 3 days now and I'm just ......

CLUELESS.  How in the world, after all this time, has he suddenly learned how to play like the sweet boy he is.  HOW????

I mean I know Lani has a touch with critters but she has BEEN HERE BEFORE .... LOTS of TIMES.

What the heck?

More later from the clueless momPerson who just can't believe it and will post a video to facebook tomorrow because I'm sure you can't either.

P.S.   while they were playing Snoopy got a little excited and tried humping Gracie (also a first) and she whipped around and said NO!! and he stopped and they went right back to playing ..... just like they had been playing just like this all their lives, I swear to you in over a year of living together never, ever have they been like this together ......
