Use the Cipro Lea! Fill the prescription and start today! Do not use the
Blue Ear Treatment if the ear drum is not intact or there are ulcers in the
ear!

Like Pam, I have had two dogs with this wicked, wicked infection. It is
almost always a sign of a food allergy. I did not know as much with
Bismark ATB as I do now. I took him to the vet and never missed a dose,
but I was told since it was only in one ear, it wasn't food allergies. I
waited too long. He went deaf.

When Bugsey was diagnosed with Pseudomonas I almost bawled on the spot.
Instead I demanded allergy blood testing immediately. The vet argued
because it was only in one ear. I told him it was my money and if I wanted
to flush it down the toilet that was my choice. He told me he was so young
that I would have to have him retested when he was older. I said, "And, we
can do that". Before it was all said and done, his ear drum bust three
times before he was 2! He is allergic to pork, eggs, oatmeal, green peas,
wheat, kelp and potatoes. I didn't have a single thing in the house to
feed him. I got him on the diet. Things got better. I started him on
shots because he has a ton of environmental allergies as well.
Antihistamines didn't work. He is now on Atopica and doing great. He
hasn't had an ear infection since we did all this. He gets probiotics
every meal. He can hear! He is the most wonderful, loving hound. It is
so worth it. Unfortunately Pseudomonas is not one to mess with going the
natural route. You might use the natural route to prevent another one (I
do), but get rid of the current infection fast!
