There is water/liquid in what you fed Ben yesterday, especially the cottage
cheese.  I would do as Dale suggested, run your finger inside his cheek and
see if it feels normal.  If it does, then leave him be and quit stressing so
much (no offence meant here).  Pancreatitis is a very painful problem to
have, and eating and drinking hurt.  And it takes a few weeks to get back to
normal.
