[Dailydrool] Colt update and holistic treatment info request

Thank all of you so much for the love, prayers and drool for our sweet boy.  We did x-rays yesterday afternoon and so far the lymphoma is not in his  chest. We are still considering other treatments and we are looking for more information especially on any holistic treatments. So if anyone can provide us with any information in this area it would greatly be appreciated.  But so far we are leaning toward taking him in for a biopsy on Monday.  Start prednisone after the surgery to hopefully bring the swelling down in the lymph nodes and see what the biopsy report comes back with.  If it is T-cell then we will just continue prednisone. Since t- cell doesn't respond  well to chemo.  If it is B-cell then we are considering starting him on chemo. Doc says that bassets tend to do really well with it.  If he does well then we will of course continue but if he doesn't do well with it then we will discontinue it. We are also going to start him on a immune system boosting  regiment recommended by a Drooler of VitC, Golden Seal, and Echinacea.  It is all about Colt now and given him the best quality of life that we can.  Todd and I are committed to doing what we think is best for him and trying to keep our emotions out of it and just focus on giving Colt the best quality of life that we can.
