[Dailydrool] the clueless momPerson

Hi all, Snoopy here,

As most of you know my momPerson loves to play in the street.  A few years ago I took over her schedule because she had too many things to manage.  Occasionally we run into challenges where she is unhappy with my scheduling.  One time she had a marathon run and a Giants baseball game scheduled on the same day and she could have done it, she really could have the marathon would have been done by noon at the latest and game wasn't until 1:05 and the end of the run was just 10 minutes from the stadium.  She had a fit that time and I had to reschedule her into the half marathon instead, but I digress.

This year I am being careful, ONE event per week.  The very first one was yesterday.  I found a very nice event called the Cinderella Classic.  It's that a lovely name?  It was all momPersons and grandmaPersons, no dadPersons allowed on the course except for prince charmings.  It was a wonderful bike ride through the Livermore valley, past all those wineries in the shade of Mt Diablo, simply lovely.  So last week the clueless momPerson says to me "Snoopy how could you??  I can't ride 65 miles on my bicycle for goodness sakes."  Don't be ridiculous momPerson it's not even a race, it's a ride, it says for momPersons of all skill levels and abilities.  And there are treats, lots of treat.  They have wonderful food at 3 rest stops, they even have prince charmings by the side of the road handing out lemon drops and caramels just in case you need a treat between rest stops.  And if you get a flat then there are prince charmings patrolling the course
 and they will change your tire so you don't mess up your manicure.  She was upset.  She called me names.  She said she couldn't do it.  I told her if she had trouble a prince charming would pick her up and give her a ride to the finish.

So, yesterday she went.  And when she came home she told me "Snoopy I had SUCH a good time, Snoopy it was wonderful ..... it was beautiful and the company was great and the food was top notch and I had the very best time, Snoopy you are a genius."  Sheesh.  It's no wonder they call her the clueless momPerson, it really isn't a mystery.
