One common reason that one Acl goes and then the other, is that the dog
compensates for the sore leg by over-using the healthy leg until it is no
longer healthy but also torn. Another reason crate rest is an absolute
imperative, and not just your Vet's way of getting back at you for all
those times you called him with an emergency that turned out to be nothing
at all.
