[Dailydrool] Snoopy the Dickens

Hi it's Gracie,
 
Oh this boy is something else, he's going to be the death of momPerson, he is past all patience, he is going to be the death of us all is what he is.  He was hurt so bad he couldn't walk and he was dragging his butt around he was hurt so bad.  He screamed like momPerson was killing him when she had to pick him up to take him to the vetspital.  Well, they gave him drugs there.  Shots and pills and stuff.  This was early Sunday morning.  By Sunday night he was back on 4 paws.  Very gingerly.  He could walk a little bit but he had a lot of trouble getting stood up and he would take like 3 steps and then sit right down.
 
By Monday morning he thought he was a LOT better and momPerson told him no, no, no you have to rest.  So first thing Monday morning he shoved his was past momPerson and into the garage.  2 steps down.  And wound up marooned in the garage because he couldn't get up the two steps.  So mommy tried to pick him up but he was like NO NO NO that hurt SO much last time you may NOT pick me up ..... I'll eat you ..... NO NO NO ..... she tried treats she tried bribery she tried threatening to pick him up she finally got behind him and pushed him up the steps.
 
By Monday evening he was feeling better, he was being impossible, he wanted a walk so mommy took him 5 houses down but when she turned around to come home he wanted to keep going and she told him he couldn't and he had to come home and he said he wouldn't and she didn't want to pull on him too hard with the lead and it was a nightmare.  She finally got him home and then he decided he wanted to climb up on furniture and she told him NO NO NO you are NOT ALLOWED up on anything, you were DOWN IN THE BACK 36 hours ago you MAY NOT climb anything period!!!  So he sulked.
 
This morning he shoved his way into the garage again at breakfast (he's used to eating in there) but he made it up the two steps ok on his own.  He's trotting up and down the hall now and that tail is high and wagging a mile a minute.  The vet called, she consulted with half a dozen people and they determined that he had "narrowing mid spine consistent with an injury and no permanent damage."  He is supposed to rest and take drugs for a week.  We might have to tie him down.
