[Dailydrool] My Thirteenth Birthday

I haven't been Drooling lately but today I celebrated my first day as a "teenager" and mommy and daddy celebrated having their first teenager (me) after owning bassets for almost 35 years.

Thirteen years ago on New Years Eve my mommy, Miss Ellie, in the care of AZBHR, gave birth to twelve puppies - Newman D, Rocky, Lexie, Patrick, Rainie, Maynard, Valentine, Indy, Dottie, Edie, Nick,  and me Pumpkin. It is sad that many of my littermates have left for Rainbow Bridge and didn't get to celebrate life as a teenager here on earth but I know you must have had a big party and cake at the bridge. (((Hugs))) to all of you and your slaves and thanks to AZBHR for saving us and finding us good homes so many years ago.

Sending out a warm welcome to Walter (another AZBHR alum) living on "the hill" and being spoiled by Auntie Sandy. Glad you found your forever home.

Abby and I are sending lots of healing drool to Charlie's mom. Though we never got to meet Charlie in pawson mommy told us what a cute basset boy he was. We know you will miss him.
