We are so sorry to read how terrible you feel after losing your sweet girl.
As you said, time will help, but of course the pain felt in the meantime
can seem unbearable.

Rather than lying in bed with Barney, I would suggest trying to get out
with him. Take him on a walk. Or to a local park to play in the sunshine
and grass. Being outside can help lift your mood, and watching him enjoy
himself will bring you joy, even without Maggie.

Know that there are many people who care, and you are not alone.
