I want to say thanks to Bev as well for the excellent summary on how to treat overheated dogs. I didn't know about the evils of ice and icing my dog would probably have been the first thing I would do. We live in the desert outside of Phoenix where heat stroke is a very real danger (as well as idiots who leave their dogs in their cars. Grrrr!) Anyway, I've copied the info and sent it on to my kiddos for my granddogs.
