[Dailydrool] Heads up - changes in Secret Pawtner Exchange!

I will be posting exact dates for Secret Pawtner in the next day
or so, but I can tell you now that Secret Pawtner is going to be
later than usual for a couple of reasons.  The first one is our
Debbie's Dawgs Senior Pawtner project which we are doing in
August (when we normally do secret pawtner).  We are doing
Senior Pawtner again because it was so successful for the 
senior hounds and because we thought it would be a great
way to honor Debbie's birthday this year.  Please do consider
signing up to help a senior - you don't have to spend big  bucks
to do something that's appreciated and trust me, every little 
thing is appreciated.

My other concern was that it would be too confusing to do
senior pawtner and secret pawtner at the same time and
maybe too expensive to do both for some of us.

And lastly, right now I don't have enough energy to do both 
at the same time.  You may remember that I fell in May of 
2012 and shattered my ankle after bathing my 12 paws.  Well, 
I ended up having complication after complication and had to wear 
the Eiffel Tower (a huge halo external fixator) on my foot and leg 
and move bone and grow bone and have surgery after surgery 
and all kinds of crap.  Now I am finally starting to walk again after 
being in a wheelchair for what seemed like forever. As I'm sure
you can imagine, it's not like you can just stand up and walk after 
sitting on your butt for the better part of 2 years.  It's truly 
exhausting in spite of all the preparation I did to get ready to 
walk and by late afternoon I am pretty much done for the day. 
BUT I am making progress even though my foot feels like a
wooden box! 

So I need to postpone secret pawtner for a couple of months -
October to be exact.  I'm hoping being able to include a fall 
or Halloween theme will give it some new life and encourage 
some new people to sign up.  We have a great bunch of folks 
who participate every year and we'd love to have some new
Droolers join in the fun.  

Feel free to email me off list if you have any concerns or 
questions or need information on secret pawtner!  In the
meantime, help a senior if you can by doing senior pawtner!
