Valerie must have her hands full writing all these limericks about out beloved hounds!  I would like to thank her so much for writing the limericks for Maggie Mae and C. Higgins!  She definitely has a talent!  You are making so many houndie slaves happy, Valerie!    

Maggie Mae

Maggie Mae is a very bright hound.
The secret to getting treats she has found.
Since treats are given for
Coming through the front door,
She goes out and then turns right around.


C. Higgins

C. Higgins is a wonderful guard.
He lets no one pass by his yard,
Even if the passerby
Is well known to him, he'll try
