[Dailydrool] Lady Foxy's Ferocious Itch... Help!

OK Droolers, I know there are many with itchy hounds.

Foxy has been doing a lot better since she was switched to Honest Kitchen's
Keen (oat/low gluten/chicken).

But she continues to have flare-ups. She is not anywhere near as bad as she
was when she came to my house as a foster, but she keeps flaring. She had
another anti-histamine shot about 10 days ago and is currently getting
Hydroxizine 50 mg 2x a day.

It is helping, but I appeal to the collective knowledge of the vast pool o'
Drool for any other ideas to help her.

I give her a weekly bath, which seems to help. She came to my house because
it is believed she is allergic to carpet, and I have none (a hound-lover my
entire life, I learned as a kid that carpet & hounds means more work for
me...plus I hate carpet. Just do.)

Specifically...
- has anyone had any luck adding a probiotic? If yes, which ones are you
using?
- should I bathe her more often? (She likes baths, I think she must know
they help)
- are there other food additives I should be using, like yogurt? (I am
worried about dairy.)

Foxy LOVES food, and I mean LOVES food. I rarely give her treats because I
am so worried anything might set her off. I do give her the pills wrapped
in liverwurst (which she LOVES).

Foxy is a GGBR foster and gets all the vet care she needs; I just love this
little girl and want to help her anyway I can. It breaks my heart when she
starts digging at herself...

OK, that's it. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. The DD crew helped me
clean up JED's goopy ear. It's Perfection!
