I had a customer coming to the house to discuss plans for a commissioned piece this morning. So I got up an extra hour early to get the dogs sorted out before said customer arrived. First meals. That involved taking Harley out of the cone of shame so he could eat. Harley has a healing hotspot on his foot. Then taking Bo out of his diaper suit so Bo can go out after eating and poop outside. Okay. Then feeding Mila across the room so she won't snark. Where is Harley? Done eating and off to hide to lick the hotspot. find Harley--now the spot needs re medicating (it was almost clear, alas--back to go, now the sore is open again). Medicine on the foot. On with the cone of shame. where is Bo? Peeing on the kitchen floor. Put Bo outside and mop up. Put the mop away. what is that smell? Bo is back inside and has left a big pile of poop both in front of the front door on the outside and in the hall after he came bac in. Get the paper towels. Mop back out. Get Bo dressed again in a clean diaper suit. Take the smelly trash out. what is that sound? Mila warning off Harley who is too close to her bowl. Redirect Harley so Mila can finish eating in peace. ding dong. customer is here. "Oh"' says she, "Looks like I must have just got you out of bed."
