[Dailydrool] dixie, odd behavior

dixie is a basset/bloodhound mix and while i have experience with bassets,
i don't know much about her other half other than they  are also scent
hounds. Dixie exhibits this qurky behavior when she goes to sleep.  When
she lies down, she buries her nose in a corner of her bed (it has sides),
and sniffs, and inhales very deeply till she falls asleep. None of the
bassets i have had have done this.  It is endearing, and i imagine it gives
her some kind of comfort to be able to fall asleep this way.  Nancy,
