[Dailydrool] "Blue" Bassets

Someone on FB is posting a very cute puppy they just got, but that had a blue basset mother. I seriously thought 
blue bassets had health issues and responsible breeders did not breed them. I looked it up, and it looks like some 
might be healthy, but the blue part goes bald. Anyone with any info on this?
