all the bassets plus all the cats in our Feline Fort......and my horses here at Basset Rescue of MT have a new friend.  INTRODUCING CHIEF.....When the bassets are sleeping, Chief is watching.......when the Bassets are snoozing, Chief is keeping an eye on them and me, And in the middle of the night when the mountains have no lights and the air is so still...... Chief is the Bassets GUARDIAN........and Chief is going to save my life.  He is so tall that when I fall he is there by my side to break my fall. LIFE IS GOOD .   I hope this story below.....your link is there.......warms your heart.  Chief certainly warmed mine the very instant i saw his pic!!!!!!!!
