[Dailydrool] Shelter Challenge

I am getting a little frustrated with people lately.... it used to be if you
were a Petfinder member you were automatically registered for the Shelter
Challenge but Purina bought Petfinder and the Shelter Challenge is run by
the Greater Good so now you have to register to be in the Shelter Challenge.
Every Rescue Droolers  have suggested including BAGS is not registered. I
have called BAGS on the phone and asked the President aka shelter manager to
call me but have heard nothing yet and  none of the shelters anyone has
mentioned has tried to get in touch with me to let me know they have tried
to register since I posted they had not been registered.  So I need
help!!!!!..... someone please let me know what shelter is registered with
the Shelter Challenge site that has not won in the past!! If it were my
rescue I would be chomping at the bit to be nominated and be a part of the
Shelter Challenge, but Western Missouri like Montana have had a chance and
have won in years past. We were very grateful for the opportunity to have
been picked by Droolers and so proud to win but it  would not be fair to
have us nominated again.... I would like to see a shelter picked that 1.
Needs the help and 2. Has not been picked before but the possibility of that
happening seems dim.  Anyone have any ideas???? I am sure voting is starting
soon we have to pick someone we have a week to figure it out lets get to
thinkin!!! And if you have a suggestion PLEASE go to the Shelter Challenge
website and make sure the rescue you suggest is registered before saying I
want to vote for this one or that one because I have an ill husband, am not
well myself, have eight senior dogs with health problems and work a full
time job so my time is limited and it would be nice if I did not have to
look them up and make sure they are registered. Thank you and I am sorry if
this post makes me seem like I have an attitude.
