[Dailydrool] Repawt From The Front (HMS Santa Rosa): Crew Reassigned, New Draftees (!)

​Ensign Bullseye "Bullit" Basset received permanent orders to post in San
Leandro; he shipped out a week ago. A trainee of his stature was requested
for  a 9-year old girl, Taylor, and her family.

He is now Commander-In-Training Tiberious, AKA "Ty".

Initial repawts are that ​he is a credit to both his race and the Pacific
Basset Feet, having learned where the head is in less than 2 days.

New recruits posted to HMS Santa Rosa: Jasper and Ruby, a bonded pair. They
were held in squalor on an unidentified, broken-down scow until dumped,
imprisoned in a crate built to hold 1 hound (not two big ones) in the
parking lot of the Solono County animal shelter. In the middle of the night
(of course).

First Foster Foxy, a fastidious lady-hound, was dismayed to learn that two
flea-bitten, tape-worm infested hounds of unknown origin were coming aboard.

(First Foster Foxy has little regard for chain o command, as she believes
she is in charge.)

After a stop at Animal Kind clinic in Novato (under the watchful eye of
Commander-In-Chief-No-Joke Gloria Tannehill-Carlsen), de-worming,
de-fleaing, and six (6) baths to get (most of) the stench off, Ruby and
Jasper came aboard.

​Houndservant welcomes them, although doubts they will stay in service
long. They do not seem to have much Spiritus Houndus Militarious, although
they are a lovely and loving 8-year-old pair.​ Not really housetrained, but
THAT will change. Yes, it will.
