[Dailydrool] Tacking Bubby's Stomach

Hi Molly,

Lilie is 12 years old. When she was spayed her vet suggested tacking
because, as an emergency vet for many years, she thought it was a good idea.
We had both Lilie and Daffodil tacked at spaying.

A week ago Thursday, Lilie bloated. I got her to the vet where she spent
the day and was successfully treated. One of the first things that the vet
said to me when I picked her up was that the tacking held. Without it? I
don't know. I just know that it gave me peace of mind, and may have saved
Lilie's life just a few days ago.

I vote for it. My vet for Lilie did it for no extra charge. By the time I
got Daffy, I'd changed vets to one who was closer. I remember that the vet
at the time gave me a funny look when I asked for it, but they did it. I
think it was an extra $100. Would I pay $100 for it - YES.

Good luck to Buppy. Will she have to wear the Cone of Shame? Take
pictures - you'll want them later.

Katie, Lilie and Daffodil
