Campaign Season Is Upon Us!!

No, not that silly presidential one. It's time for the Senior Basset
Calendar Contest!

STEP 1: Candidates must officially declare their candidacy in the month of
August by submitting a high-res photo of themselves to
<mailto:wprince1 at cfl.rr.com> wprince1 at cfl.rr.com. All must be over 7 yrs old
and a Basset or Basset mix (there can be more than one hound in the picture,
but all must be Bassets or Basset mixes). So get that perfect pic now and
let the campaigns begin!

STEP 2: Starting Sept. 1, the voting begins, and candidates should "Woof the
Vote" - declaring their platform and stumping for votes, which are $1 each.
Unlike that pesky presidential contest, however, people are encouraged to
stuff the ballot box and vote as often as they like - and for as many
candidates as they want.

Every vote counts (with every dollar supporting the Bounders).
