[Dailydrool] Dirt yards

If you live in an area where bulk mulch is sold (bagged is too expensive 
for large areas) spread that on your yard. But FIRST, treat those weeds 
either with a pet-safe weed killer, or if that not available, pure 
vinegar or a solution of 1 cup salt dissolved in a gallon of water. You 
can spread mulch or whatever on top of either without waiting for it to dry.

We get a pickup truck load of shredded mulch for about $25 and it covers 
quite a large area several inches deep. Dogs may bring in a few slivers 
of mulch, but that is much easier to sweep up than mud.
