Tumeric is a spice which can be liberally sprinkled on a hound's food and
really helps with the inflammation which comes with arthritic joints.
Delilah Belle was limping last year and on the advice of Dawn of the West
who has countless old arthritic hounds and others I've been adding it to
her food at dinnertime along with cocounut oil and a quarter teaspoon of
honey - and no more limping or signs of arthritis.  You can Google tumeric
and there is actually a tumeric users group on Facebook with some good
posts.
