[Dailydrool] Meeting of the OEBEs

WE have just returned from a short break in the West Country.
Not only did we stay in a lovely converted barn, we met two lots of friends who live down there.
Firstly, we met some farming friends in a delightful pub which welcomed dogs. They invited us back to their house for coffee, but may have regretted it when Clara pooped in their kitchen while Rolph pinned their two-year-old lab to the floor, humping her. I doubt we'll be invited back.
The next day we met Morse and his slaves Becky and Mike at the same pub. It was just wonderful to see them, as we haven't met up since they moved west some years ago. This time Rolph, Clara and Morse behaved impeccably - apart from a bit of a sulk from Morse when Becky made a fuss of Rolph and Clara.
Amazingly, we got through the meal without a single piece of food being grabbed off anyone's plate.
What a great start to the holiday season.
