Hi Everyone,
This is Nora Anne Hound.  I live in Atlanta.  Thank you for letting me read about all your houndies and their adventures.  I'm hoping you want to hear about mine.  I just got a promotion.  Formerly I was the inventory specialist for Basset Hound Rescue of Georgia. That really means I get to solicit things for auction and things. But now I get to be in charge of donor and volunteer relations.  I think that's so fun. I love donors and they also give me snooter kisses and cuddle me.  

I am so excited that I am getting Pawtnered.  Humans get married but houndies get Pawtnered.  It's in October.  Right now I am having a hard time choosing my colors. It's at our Basset Bash in October.  What do you all think I should do.  My sister Raleigh Hound is my maid of honor.  She's black and white.  And I'm a red and white.  Other brides maids are tri colored and two red and whites and one formerly red and white but now blonde (paw giggle).  I was thinking a light sage green or maybe a russet.  

I'm looking at Pawtnership gowns myself.  Mommy is taking me shopping soon.  My first engagement pawty is coming up soon.  Wayne (my beloved) and I have completed our registery.  It's at BHRG.org.  We don't want anything for ourselves.  We are just so lucky that BHRG rescued us and we found furever homes.  So we are asking for things that BHRG needs when it takes in a new hound like shampoo and vet care and heart worm and flea preventative and things like that so that no one thing is very expensive.
Did you know that BHRG just rescued some puppies whose mom was killed for chewing furniture?  The cruelty of people and their stupidity just makes me want to cry.  Kind of like how I was kept in a cage for 3 years to breed puppies.  But that's what rescue is all about, the chance to make a difference in the life of a houndie.
