Morse is (hopefully) over the very worst of his rash; it is still angry
looking and he is still itchy, but its nowhere near how bad it was
yesterday. Thank you everyone for your suggestions etc, its all been so
useful. While Morse was desperately trying to find somewhere cool to get
away from the itch, he took himself into the garden of course and threw
himself through the plants. Hubby only a few weeks ago had ordered lots of
wild flower seeds and we have been eagerly awaiting the little seedlings
coming up and only on Sunday could just see the tips of them coming through
the earth.........but (ahem) Morse found them yesterday and found the mud
there oh so very cool. Hubby also planted an evergreen climbing
hydrangea a week ago, but unfortunately Morse found that too and now the
hydrangea is looking a little jaded. I have been waiting for the lovely
cerise peony to appear. I found it today underneath Morse's butt, poking
out brightly from under his tail, flattened to the ground while he glared
balefully, itchily, back at me. Hubby has suggested that we forget making
the garden pretty.
Drool to all in need.
Becky (looking wistfully at the peony), Hubby (refusing to look at any more
plants) and Morse (where's the next bloom?) (scratch, scratch)
