In our experience, it takes about 4 days for things to settle once you bring home a new creature. In days 1-3, we've always thought OMG, why did we do this !!?? And then on day 4, it all settles down. Let Annie teach the pup who is boss, and don't interfere, unless you fear for the puppy's safety. They will work it out on doggy terms, which are not always what we would have chosen, but it works for them.

it will be fine, give it some time.
