First and foremost, today we celebrate 7 years of Rupert! Adopted at approximate age of 2, we also consider today his birthday. So, happy 9th Ru. I'll send a second post with his rescue tale, for the newbies or those who haven't heard/read it in the past. It's pretty sweet and can't help but make you smile.

Now, for my current concern.. I'll give background as I am not sure if anything or everything is related.

We left town last Thurs-Sun for an out-of-state wedding. The dogs went to a dog sitters home, where there were 3 other dogs. She said they ate their regular food, the Bonies we feed from Auntie Angelika, and a few mini milkbones. They did not get any people food. Sunday evening we returned and Rupert ate dinner. He was beyond thrilled to see us. In the middle of the night he puked on the bed, nothing substantial. food and foam. He went back to sleep and was fine - eating and pooping normally thru Monday.

On Tuesday he puked foamy slime again, twice, and the second one had a slight pink tint. Of course I understand blood in throw up is concerning, but it was only slightly colored, and it was the 3rd time in under 36 hours so I considered it could be a result of puking. Plus he continued to eat, drink and poop normally.

Wednesday, all was fine. No known puking, but he may have and we didn't see it if it was outside or if he ate it. Haha ew, sorry. He also ate and pooped normal, again.

Today he skipped breakfast. BUT it was delivered by dad as plain, dry kibble. I know, on his birthday. Plain kibble. It's an atrocity. But I digress. So I'm not surprised he skipped breakfast. But I came home tonight to find his eyes pretty goopy. Like green goop. He always has goop, but its generally clear.

So, I figured I call on the experts to see if you would say that all of this, added together warrants a vet visit. Ru hates going to the vet and I cannot decide if all these little things may equal something bigger. Thoughts?

Thanks,
