I second what Nancy said about it taking 4 days. That was our exact
experience, including having wtf were we thinking thoughts, when we first
adopted Rupert. But by day 4, they decided to co-exist and 7 years later
they are still going strong. I wouldn't call them bonded, but they
definitely enjoy having one another, plus they gang up on us humans
demanding walks, treats, etc.

Keep on keeping on with what you're doing and enjoy that pup as much as
possible because she'll grow up so fast!!
