[Dailydrool] Gracie reports

Hi it's Gracie, I'm all better I really am they cut a great big hunk of hound right out of my belly and it was terrible, really bad and 8 days post op some stitches popped and then I had stitches and staples and swelling and drainage and it hurt and I cried and it was all terrible and mommy had to carry me everywhere and lift me up and lift me down and cradle me like a baby and someone had to be with me every minute and I had good drugs and Snoopy and LuLu had to be VERY NICE and let me go first every single time and after a while it wasn't so bad except for the stitches and the staples and all. On Saturday (23 days post op) I got my stitches and staples and so forth out.  And the funniest thing happened.  You may remember back on the fourth of July when I hurt MYSELF by having Snoopy tackle me over a bag of ears of corn I got off of the counter.  I hurt MYSELF good and could no longer jump up on anything.  After a month or two I could get my front feet on stuff and either wiggle a back foot up and worm my way up there or else cry and get mommy or daddy to boost me.  Everyone figured my days of flying through the air with the greatest of ease (I've always been a LEAPER) were done.   Anyway i came home from getting the staples and all out, and walked into the living room and leapt up on the couch in one smooth motion and lay down for a nap.  And since that moment I am back to flying through the air with the greatest of ease .......up on the bed in one smooth leap, the couch, the counter (oops, shhhhh) ...... everywhere. We don't know why, after 4 1/2 months, I can suddenly leap again ...... one thought is the tumor was growing in the mammary glad and it was in my way ..... another is I had no choice but to rest and was basically carried everywhere for weeks ...... whatever it is ..... I'm all better and I'm quite the dickens ..... mommy got quite spoiled while I was grounded.  hehehehehehe Love,Gracie
