I'm sorry you have to put up with that sort of mess. 
How callous that woman sounded, and describing how herdog got hit by a car and she wanted another one for the kids.  Like they are replaceable NOT!!!
She has more "issues" than wanting another dog, psychologically speaking. And the lesson that she is teaching her children "I'll just get another one" is more than sad.
