Tina,

My Pw Miss Pauline had glaucoma and every hound I have had since her
has gone to the animal ophthalmologist.  I can tell you right now that Pauline
had several kinds of eye drops and the neo-poly-dex is not something that
I believe is used for glaucoma. We have used that before for eye infections
but glaucoma is not an infection. You really, really need to find an animal
ophthalmologist. Glaucoma usually ends up in the second eye as well and
you are going to want to do what you can to prevent that. I really don’t think
what your vet gave you is going to do anything for her which may mean she
is in terrible pain.  Do you know if she has a tonometer to measure her eye
pressure?  Having glaucoma can feel like having the worst migraine in your
eye.

Everyone who said your husband should not blame himself is correct - it 
comes on suddenly and without warning.
