I have used the ladies from Houndstooth. They are located in California but travel to vets offices . Mine was a holistic vet in NY state. I had a remarkably good experience with a fearful cocker that had a history of fear butting. If your boy has loose teeth or pain it might not work. I don't think 12 is particularly old for anesthesia, have a full blood panel done and find a confident vet you trust.
