Well, I have a tale!  No one called or came to claim the young ridgeback-pitbull mix, Blossom, I rescued out of traffic yesterday, despite the Humane Society leaving messages for the owners. And here is why. Yesterday the 70 year old husband owner shot the 62 year old wife owner in the head. She is dead and he is in jail. Blossom escaped in the fray of ambulances and police cars apparently. She is here. The Humane Society is looking to see if there are any next of kin who want Blossom. For the time-being anyway, she is recuperating with our basset pack. Bill is a little leery about pitbulls, but we have had no problems yet. Val of Hawaii vlbzwick at yahoo.com
